- Before first use, connect the filter to a faucet and flush both the black carbon filter and fluoride filter for 1–3 minutes. This helps remove loose activated carbon and natural mineral residue. Please note: TDS readings do not fully reflect water quality, and these filters are not designed to reduce TDS levels.
- ⏳ Long-Lasting Filter Performance
- For best results, replace the carbon filter pair approximately every 5,000 gallons and the fluoride filter every 1,000 gallons. In areas with hard, cloudy, or high-mineral water, replacement may be required sooner (around 500–1,000 gallons). If water contains higher levels of fluoride or contaminants, replacing every 800 gallons is recommended for consistent performance.
